GENERAL SUPPLIES NEEDED

SUPPLIES FOR PIG
>> One 8-1/2-by-11-inch piece pink cardstock (head)
>> One 4-by-7-inch piece pink cardstock (ears and snout)
>> One 2-1/2-by-4-1/2-inch piece pink cardstock (eyes)
>> One jumbo craft stick or a pair of bamboo chopsticks (handle)
>> Two 24-millimeter moving eyes
TO MAKE PIG FAN:
1. Take the 8-1/2-by-11-inch piece pink cardstock and fold in half so it is 8-1/2-by-5-1/2 inches. Cut out the head template and place the dotted line edge on the fold. Trace around the sides.
2. Cut the head shape out, leaving the folded edge intact.
3. Trace and cut out pieces for ears and snout from cardstock according to the patterns. Cut small circles for the eyes.
4. Open up the head shape. Take the ears and place one on either side of the head with the straight edge along the edge of the top of the head. Tape in place.
5. With head piece still open, place the jumbo craft stick at the bottom, sticking out for the handle. Use the low-temperature glue gun or double-stick tape to adhere. Add glue or tape around the entire edge of the head piece. Close the top down to adhere together.
6. Place the eyes and snout on the face. Tape in place. Use the black marker to draw in a smiling mouth and the nostrils on the snout.
7. Curl the tips of the ears forward.
Optional: Add a ribbon bow to the handle.
SUPPLIES FOR BOAR
>> One 8-1/2-by-11-inch piece white cardstock (head)
>> One 4-1/2-by-9-inch piece white cardstock (ears)
>> One 4-by-7-inch piece white cardstock (inner ear and snout)
>> One 2-by-3-inch piece gray cardstock (eye patch)
>> Two 24-millimeter moving eyes
TO MAKE BOAR FAN:
1. Follow steps one through three for the pig (except for the eye circles). Take the pink inner ears and place on the white ears and tape in place. Open up the head shape. Take the ears and place one on either side of the head with the straight edge along the edge of the top of the head. Tape in place.
2. With head piece still open, place the jumbo craft stick at the bottom, sticking out for the handle. Use the low-temperature glue gun or double-stick tape to adhere. Add glue or tape around the entire edge of the head piece. Close the top down to adhere together.
3. Make the face by placing the eye patch on the left side. Place the eyes down next and tape in place. Place the snout below the eyes and tape in place.
4. Use the black marker to draw in a smiling mouth and nostrils on the snout. You can also draw in more details like spots. Or cut out spots from the gray cardstock and glue on.
Optional: Add a ribbon bow to the handle.
