Police release man accused of paper folder attack in Makakilo
A 67-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attacking his daughter with a paper folder in Makakilo has been released without charges, police said.
At about 8 p.m. Thursday, the man struck the woman, 39, on the head with the paper folder, causing her pain, police said. He also allegedly hit his granddaughter, 11, with the folder, police said.
Police arrested the man Thursday night on suspicion of two counts of abuse of a family or household member.
He was released at 4 p.m. Friday, pending investigation.
Police did not have additional information on the folder.
