Regarding President Donald Trump’s trade tariff wars (“Farmers concerned as soybeans pile up in trade war,” Star-Advertiser, Nov. 28): He has spent $12 billion to cover up his tariff war mistakes by paying off soybean farmers with our hard-earned tax dollars.
Where is the $12 billion coming from? Whose budget? And if this tariff continues, he plans to spend more money foolishly.
I’m sure that the U.S. Department of Agriculture does not have this kind of money in its budget.
Instead, this money should be used to handle the influx of immigrants seeking asylum and reuniting parents with their children who were ripped away from them.
I don’t pay taxes to cover up Trump’s trade wars.
