Woman, 49, allegedly choked in Waikiki
A 42-year-old man allegedly choked a 49-year-old woman in Waikiki at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Police arrested the man minutes later, at 2:42 a.m., on suspicion of felony abuse. But the city Prosecutor’s office later reduced the charge to misdemeanor abuse and had the suspect held on $2,000 bail.
