Am I the only one who opened last Sunday’s paper expecting to read about the horrific California fires and instead found a discussion of the outcome of the race between Gov. David Ige and state Rep. Andria Tupola (“Crushing loss for Republicans,” Star-Advertiser, Nov. 11)?
Huh? It’s a Democratic state and that outcome was not news.
It also won’t be news when we read about the same stuff that never gets fixed but had oh-so-much discussion. That would be homelessness, rail, etc.
So I was really disappointed to see the editors choose that story over what has me on the edge of my seat: the awful loss of life and property in California.
