Liberals preaching “sustainable jobs for everyone” want to change America from a democratic government to a socialist one by making every job, no matter how menial, pay enough to sustain an average family.
Why not just guarantee a national income for everyone? Why get an education, learn a trade or do anything to improve one’s standard of living? Just serve burgers or clean rooms to earn a comfortable living. Have the government force every company to pay a guaranteed wage to every employee.
Or why not just increase public assistance programs to bring low-wage earners up to a more comfortable standard of living? Why should custodial workers or housekeepers be paid the same as college graduates or skilled tradespeople?
Guaranteeing everyone a minimum wage is clearly a socialist concept. Take a look around and see how socialist countries are doing these days. Try Venezuela for starters.
