The Armed Services Disciplinary Control Board put out an advisory on Waikiki crime, specifically in the Kalakaua Avenue/Royal Hawaiian Avenue intersection late December. There are about a dozen establishments in this area that were mentioned in the Advisory from Moose's to Tsunamis and Club Alley Cat. ASDCB meets periodically and can place establishment off limits that would mean military members who frequent them could face punishment up to court martial.
