A new urgent care clinic is opening in December on the ground floor of the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Waikiki.

The center, called Doctors of Waikiki, will have bilingual (English and Japanese speaking) staff and offer complimentary transportation to and from Waikiki hotels, as well as house/hotel room calls until midnight daily. In addition to acute care, the clinic will provide laboratory and X-ray services, as well as pre-employment physical examinations, drug tests, workers’ compensation care and adult immunizations.

“We both have decided to sacrifice our personal time and stay open until midnight daily to provide urgent care services currently not available but needed in Waikiki during late-night hours,” said Dr. Alan Wu and Dr. Tony Trpkovski of Doctors of Waikiki, in a news release. “Hopefully our urgent care services can also decrease the burden of non-emergency visits to the ER coming from patients coming from Waikiki.”

The clinic will accept all major insurance including travel coverage, as well as Japanese yen.
