A “Prayers for Pittsburgh” gathering will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Temple Emanu-El to pray for victims of Saturday’s Tree of Life Synagogue shooting and their loved ones.
Members of Oahu’s Jewish community and other faith congregations will gather to show support for the Pittsburgh community, where an anti-Semitic gunman killed 11 worshippers and injured six others with an assault rifle and at least three handguns. The suspect, Robert Bowers, made his first court appearance Monday.
