If we citizens spend more than we earn, we can find temporary relief.
For a more permanent solution, we must spend less than we earn.
If our national leaders are worried about the next election, they can give big tax cuts to many who don’t need them, and provide money to improve the economy and reduce unemployment by charging the bill to our descendants. Our leaders face no objections from the unborn.
Those so-called “tax cuts” are really tax increases for those future citizens who will be stuck with paying the national debt and the huge accumulated interest.
Now that the economy is in good shape, we should be able to live within our means and even reduce our debt.
