I am a senior citizen and never really got too excited about the goings-on in Washington, D.C. — until now. Since the recent election, I usually went along with our president.
However, the recent Brett Kavanaugh hearings made me sick, and worried, too. After all the tears and commercials for beer, what have we learned?
I, for one, came to the conclusion that this man is not the type of person I would want to judge anyone else. Setting aside the allegations made by both sides, I came away feeling this man is leading a double life. He acts like a teenager caught drinking, and then as a tearful actor trying for your sympathy.
Would you want someone in office for his lifetime with the temperament he displayed? Not me.
