To all those who still support President Donald Trump, please clear your mind for a moment and consider: Trump constantly seeks to divide Americans with us vs. them rhetoric, but America is obviously “greater” when it is united.
We are, after all, the United States of America, and the lessons of our Civil War are not forgotten. Before his election, Abraham Lincoln reminded the nation of Jesus’ teaching that “a house divided against itself, cannot stand.”
Trump is not “making America great again” by dividing us into partisan camps.
Regardless of party, we need leaders who will inspire us to join forces and face the world’s great challenges together.
