Much kudos to The Shidler Group for doing a great job of maintaining the green space surrounding Restaurant Row and Waterfront Plaza.
Each morning, gardeners and maintenance staff can be seen hard at work, tending to the green lawns, beautiful trees, shrubs, plants and walkways, which extend around the entire block. The front lawn on Ala Moana Boulevard, with its distinct turquoise gazebo, is truly a welcome sight among the growing residential community of Kakaako and its high-rises.
Various nonprofit organizations use the lawn area and its park-like setting for staging their fundraising events. This well-maintained green space is very much appreciated, especially given that much of Honolulu is a concrete jungle.
