A 28-year-old man is being held on $1 million bail, facing murder, robbery and gun charges in the shooting death of a man at an illegal Kapiolani Boulevard game room Saturday night.

Manu Sorensen, also known as Ross Manu Sorensen, made his initial court appearance before Judge Lono Lee this morning after prosecutors charged him Wednesday with second-degree murder, first-degree robbery and three counts of firearm-related charges in the death of Jacob N. Feliciano of Waipahu.

Police said the deadly shooting occurred at a game room dubbed “Gameroom Rock Za Sura” at 1726 Kapiolani Boulevard at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.

Police said that during a robbery attempt, Sorensen discharged a single round which struck Feliciano, then fled the scene.

Feliciano, 31, was taken to a hospital where he died of a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.

A second suspect, Robin Paakaula, was charged with first-degree robbery and promoting a dangerous drug.

Police arrested Sorensen in Hauula Monday after Honolulu CrimeStoppers issued a bulletin seeking the public’s help in locating him.
