Keiki dancers of Halau Na Mamo O Tulipa of Waianae performed at the Food and New Product Show 2018 in the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on Sunday. The show featured more than 200 vendors with new products for the kitchen, food samples, live cooking demonstrations and a farm-to-table farmers market. There also was a plant sale and entertainment.

Native Americans participated Sunday in the Grand Entry that began the day's activities at the 44th annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow. The two-day event featured Native American drumming, singing, dancing, children's activities, educational booths, native fry bread and tacos, and more at Ala Moana Regional Park.

A procession of surviving family members were escorted by military personnel during the "Gold Star Mother's and Family's Day Ceremony" held at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Sunday. The ceremony honored the mothers and families of 32 fallen service members with prayer and guest speakers culminating with an offering of flowers, lei and the placement of their loved ones boots at the base of the Lady Columbia statue.
