Kamehameha Highway reopened following North Shore crash

Police and firefighters were responding to a crash this afternoon on Kamehameha Highway on the North Shore.

Police reopened Kamehameha Highway after it was closed for a couple hours near Sunset Beach because of a crash.

Police reported the crash occurred at about 1:30 p.m.

Firefighters were sent to the scene to assist with removing a person pinned inside a vehicle and reported at least one person was in serious condition.

Police said the road was reopened at about 3:30 p.m.
