Three University of Hawaii sailors — Annika Garrett, Michael Pacholski and Caitlin Shadt — were named to the 2017-18 All-Academic Sailing Team, the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association announced on Friday.
The all-academic team is comprised of 238 members who meet the criteria of being a junior or senior, having at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, and being a starter or key reserve in at least seven university-sponsored regattas.
Pacholski was named an all-conference skipper and Schadt earned all-conference honors for the 2017-18 season.
The ’Bows start the season on Sept. 22-23 at the PCCSC Men’s and Women’s Singlehanded Championship in San Francisco.
