I would like to thank all of the various government agencies for their efforts in keeping us safe during the hurricane season. As a former first responder, I understand the challenges and sacrifices incurred during this time of need.
My only request is: Would it be a feasible decision to discontinue the bulky-item pickups during the so-called hurricane season? The items left on our sidewalks in our neighborhoods would be projectiles in high winds and pose additional obstacles for all of us in the community. Am I asking too much?
