In response to Carol Pierpont (“Don’t blame drivers for DMV problems,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, Sept. 11): Umm, really, making an appointment just three months in advance? Make the appointment at a time you can go, and just go.
She makes a mountain out of a molehill. What about dental appointments six months in advance? My internist schedules one year ahead.
If you cannot keep appointments, then just stand in the line. Having an appointment was the best ever. I was in and out in 15 minutes. My friend just went without an appointment and spent all day — more than seven hours. So make the appointment and keep it. Or cancel it so another can go in your place. Simple and easy.
