Letter: Re-broadcast Little League game

It would be a great community service if Spectrum would re-broadcast the Little League World Series game. All the people in Hawaii could see the fine example set by our young ambassadors and their coaches from Hawaii both on and off the field.

Major League Baseball and any major sport would take away a lesson in sportsmanship displayed by our young heroes. There was a time when the team had eaten at a local restaurant and were the last to leave, but manager Gerald Oda saw there were only two workers to clean up the restaurant. So he asked his team to stay back and help them clean up — an outstanding example of how to give back by helping others.

Oda needs to run a clinic on how to coach young people on how to have fun and still win — with an emphasis on fun first.
