Ko Olina’s next Get Golf Ready series begins today. The national program is designed as a “fun and affordable” introduction to the game and is open to anyone 15 or older.
Ko Olina is offering two different classes — Debut Beginner and Tee It Up Intermediate. Both meet five times, with the beginner session costing $129 and intermediate $149.
Both levels start today, with Debut classes running Thursdays through Sept. 29 from 4-5 p.m. and “Tee It Up” from 5-6 p.m.
There are three other “Debut” sessions. Two start this Saturday, from 9-10 a.m. or 4-5 p.m. There is also a Sunday session, from 8-9 a.m.
Beginner classes include on-course experience the final week and a maximum of six students per teacher. Intermediate classes get three hours of on-course instruction and have a 4-to-1 student-teacher ratio.
