Jonah Stephens rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns, leading the Bulldogs to a 49-0 blowout of the Falcons at Skippa Diaz Stadium.
A 53-yard sprint by Stephens opened the scoring in the first quarter, but Kaimuki seized control of the game in the second quarter, putting up 29 points to take a 36-0 lead into the half.
The Bulldogs defense was also in complete control, holding Kalani to just 31 yards of offense in the first half, and only 75 yards of total offense for the game. Kaimuki was able to put constant pressure on Falcons quarterback Nicholas Sakamoto. Sakamoto was sacked five times and fumbled twice, while also throwing an interception. One of Sakamoto’s fumbles was returned for a touchdown by Kaimuki’s Blade Pfeiffer-Kekoa.
