Get your geek on at Comic Con Honolulu, a three-day event at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, featuring guests from the comic, gaming, television and movie industries, as well as local artists, vendors and costumers.
“Comic Con Honolulu is a great opportunity for families to spend time together as there is something for everyone,” said event CEO Faisal Ahmed.
On hand will be Roy Thomas, Stan Lee’s successor at Marvel Comics. There will also be appearances by celebrities from “Harry Potter,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “Big Bang Theory,” “The Walking Dead,” “Arrow” and “Flash.”

When: Aug. 3-5. First scheduled events are 10 a.m. each day and last scheduled events are 9, 8:30 and 5 p.m., respectively.

“(The event) will mark the first time that a major video game company will be doing an official panel in Hawaii,” Ahmed added. Blizzard, makers of “World of Warcraft,” will host a panel led by Michael Chu, a writer for their hit game “Overwatch,” and five voice actors from the game.
