Vineyard eastbound lanes, H-1 offramp reopened, repairs completed to water main
All eastbound lanes of Vineyard Boulevard in Palama and the H-1 eastbound Vineyard offramp are open tonight. Those roadways were closed after a water main break late Friday afternoon.
The Board of Water Supply finished repairing the 12-inch main that broke on Vineyard between Pua Lane and Liliha Street earlier today. Crews worked with a paving contractor to repair the damaged roadway this evening.
Water service was restored this morning to about 20 customers. The Board of Water Supply set up a water bypass Friday evening, reducing the number of customers without water service from 50 to about 20. Two water wagons were set up on Friday.
