Couple returns to Leilani Estates with grief and hope

After loading up their two vehicles, Mick and Ann Kalber (in their cars on the far side of the gate) wait for the gate to be unlocked by either USGS or sentries who have the keys, so they can leave. Mark Landers, a resident not in the mandatory evacuation zone, stands on the barrier to see if anyone is down the road.

Renowned volcano videographer Mick Kalber and his wife Ann go to their home on Kupono St. in Leilani Estates to remove their last few personal items, as they are in the mandatory evacuation zone.
