Revelers who flock to this year’s Fourth of July “floatilla” off Waikiki Beach won’t have volunteers cleaning up after them. The nonprofit Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, which said it has spent almost $2,000 a year for the past six years to pick up after the floatilla, announced it will be concentrating its efforts elsewhere.
