Three industry veterans appointed to new leadership roles at Ward Village

Simon Treacy, president of the Howard Hughes Corporation in Hawaii, announced the appointment of three industry veterans to new leadership roles at Ward Village, a 60-acre master-planned community in Honolulu:

>> Bonnie Wedemeyer is the senior vice president of sales. She has 20 years of real estate experience, including having served as director of Luxury Projects at Heyer & Associates. Wedemeyer was also director of sales for Park Lane, ONE Ala Moana and Pacifica Honolulu.

>> Todd Apo is senior vice president of community development. He has been with the corporation for almost three years. Prior to that, Apo was the public affairs director at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. He also served on the Honolulu City Council for six years.

>> Doug Johnstone is the senior vice president for development. He has been with the corporation for six years. Prior to that, Johnstone managed the development and investment efforts of Kamehameha Schools’ commercial real estate portfolio and the Cyburt Hall Partners in Los Angeles.
