Construction along Kalanianaole Highway between the H-1 freeway and West Hind Drive resumes Sunday night.

State Department of Transportation crews began lane closures for overnight roadwork last week, and have scheduled more pavement reconstruction and resurfacing Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Two right lanes will be closed from Ainakoa Avenue to West Hind Drive, with contraflow in the westbound lanes.

On Monday night, the right lane will be closed between the H-1 freeway and Ainakoa Avenue, and the Waialae Avenue onramp will be closed to Kalanianaole Highway. Drivers can detour to get onto Kalanianaole via Kilauea Avenue, Malia Street, and Ainakoa Avenue.

On Tuesday night, two left lanes will be closed between the H-1 freeway and Ainakoa Avenue.
