JYP, one of South Korea’s largest entertainment management companies, has just created their first Chinese boy band expanding their reach into the large Chinese entertainment industry.
The new group Boy Story is made up of six Chinese tweens and teens, who are between the ages of 11 and 14. The boys were hand-picked by Park Jin Young, the founder of JYP.
JYP China, which will manage the new group, is a partnership between JYP and Tencent Music Entertainment, a Chinese online entertainment company.
K-pop has been tremendously popular in neighboring countries Japan and China. Many of the K-pop groups incorporate members from Japan and China to add to the international appeal and for marketing purposes.

“Secret Mother”
Episodes 1-2 (Premiere)
>> Sunday, 6:30 p.m.: A mysterious drama centers around moms, whose lives depend on their children’s education. Yoon Jin is a psychiatrist who devotes her life to her family and child, sacrificing her life. Eun Young assists children with exams and education. A mystery is about to surface with Eun Young’s appearance. She moves in to the neighborhood to find answers to her sister’s disappearance.
Episodes 3-4
>> Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: Eun Young moves in to Yoon Jin’s house as a private tutor for the kids. A tension between the two is palatable. Eun Young tries to bond with Yoon Jin’s son.
“Wok of Love”
Episodes 9-10
>> Monday, 7:45 p.m.: On Hungry Wok’s grand opening, Sae Woo shows up and makes an announcement that shakes up Seo Poong and Chil Seong. Seo Poong goes ballistic after seeing a photo left by Dal Hui. He runs over to the giant hotel suite to find Dal Hui.
Episodes 11-12
>> Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Sae Woo leaves her house. Seo Poong is confused between two emotions: Dal Hui’s betrayal and his feelings for Sae Woo. Chil Seong is ever so sweetened by Sae Woo. An emotional duel between Seo Poong and Chil Seong ensues.
“Switch”
Episodes 31-32 (Finale)
>> Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Geum Tae Woong escapes Do Chan’s trap and gets his hands on $200 million. Do Chan puts his final plan in order. Ha Ra gets ready for the final duel as well. Will the bad guys get due punishment?
“The Undateables”
Episodes 1-2 (Premiere)
>> Thursday, 7:45 p.m.: In this comical romance, Hoon Nam refuses to fall in love while Jeong Eum dreams of being in love, but has given up hope. They fall in love, while helping others escape their solo lives.
“Rich Son”

>> Friday, 7:45 p.m.: Gwang Jae visits bearing gifts for Young Ha’s grandmother to get her help, but ends up being kicked out by Young Ha’s father. Young Ha confides in her father why she fell for Gwang Jae. A call makes Chairman Nam pale. He rushes over and tells Soo Hee to submit her divorce papers.
Episodes 15-16
>> Saturday, 7:45 p.m.: Soo Hee gets anxious at remembering what happened in the past. Not knowing what is going through her mind, Gye Dong is upset at her indifference to Gwang Jae’s affairs. Kyung Ha caves in after insistent urging and meets with Attorney Park. Gye Dong accompanies Gwang Jae and visits Young Ha’s family.
