University of Hawaii sophomore Lily Lowe qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships by tying for seventh in the high jump at the NCAA West Preliminary Round on Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.
Lowe, of Murray, Ky., reached a height of 5 feet, 10.75 inches.
Also Thursday, Rainbow Wahine sophomore Alexis Brenzil, of Welland, Ontario, failed to qualify for the NCAAs by finishing 40th in the javelin with a throw of 135-7.
The NCAA Championships are June 6-9 in Eugene, Ore.
