Jackson Rees lasted seven pitches before leaving when he was accidentally struck on the mouth by a return throw from catcher Kekai Rios. Kash Koltermann replaced Rees and the Dirtbags then scored five runs before making their first out.

The ’Bows dropped to 25-21 overall and 9-10 in the Big West. They need a victory in any of their five remaining games to ensure a winning regular season for the second consecutive year.
