Comedian Jo Koy added a fourth show Friday at the Blaisdell Arena in November.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show on Nov. 21 go on sale at 10 a.m., with prices set at $45 and $55, on ticketmaster.com.
Koy’s first show, on Nov. 24, quickly sold out Wednesday morning, prompting the addition of two more shows on Nov. 23 and 25. Scattered single seats are still available for the latter two shows.
Last year the Filipino-American comedian sold out 11 shows at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.
Calling from California, where Koy had a concert Friday in San Jose, the comedian told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser on Thursday he would be open to adding additional arena shows if the third concert sells out. “It’s moving so fast,” Koy said.
He said he could feel the affection Hawaii audiences have for him and his comedy.
“I was walking around town, and just how people were coming up to me, it was appreciation — just love,” he said. “Better not kick me out now. I’m staying forever.”
Koy plans to film his next comedy special while in Honolulu, as part of his Break the Mold World Tour. Because the comedian’s routines include mature content, tickets are restricted to those ages 12 and over.
