Question: Will the MSG Sphere Arena mentioned in last week’s column host sporting events or concerts?
Answer: Likely both, but the emphasis will certainly be on music. The performance venue that will go up behind the Venetian will have technology that allows sound to be directed with such precision that different languages can be sent to specific seats without the use of headphones or wires. Las Vegas’ will be the first sphere venue created by Madison Square Garden Co., with a second planned for London.
