The Hawaii and UC Davis baseball teams will try again today after Friday’s game was postponed because of heavy rain in Davis, Calif.
Weather permitting, UH and UCD will play today and Sunday, with both games starting at 10 a.m. If today’s game is postponed, the teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday.
“Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains,” UH coach Mike Trapasso said.
Trapasso said the team spent part of Friday in study hall. The three-game series against UC Davis is the final stop on the Rainbow Warriors’ seven-game, 14-day road trip. The ’Bows won the series opener 5-3 on Thursday in a game that was played earlier because of Friday’s threat of rain.
Trapasso said Neil Uskali will be the starting pitcher today. UH’s third-game starter still has not been decided.
