Michael Caine says he won’t work with Woody Allen again
Add Michael Caine to the list of actors who say they’ll never collaborate with Woody Allen again.
Caine said in a new interview that he’s “so stunned” by the child abuse claims made against Allen, whom he worked with on the 1986 drama “Hannah and Her Sisters.”
Allen’s adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow, has claimed for years that Allen molested her in 1992, when she was 7 years old.
“I’m a patron of the NSPCC and have very strong views about pedophilia,” Caine, 84, told The Guardian, referring to National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. “I can’t come to terms with it, because I loved Woody and had a wonderful time with him. I even introduced him to Mia (Farrow).
“I don’t regret working with him, which I did in complete innocence; but I wouldn’t work with him again, no.”
Allen, 82, has long denied the molestation accusation, while Dylan Farrow, 32, has reiterated her claim over the years.

Connecticut officials investigated the molestation claim after it was initially made in 1992, but they never pressed charges despite a state attorney determining there was probable cause to prosecute.
Caine — who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in “Hannah and Her Sisters” — joins Colin Firth, Mira Sorvino, Greta Gerwig and numerous other celebrities who vow not to work with Allen again.
Meanwhile, Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Hall and Griffin Newman — who each star in Allen’s latest film, “A Rainy Day in New York” — promised to donate their earnings from the movie to charities that support women.
