The Saitama Ryujin Matsuri Kai featured "Ryujin" which is a symbol of Saitama, the long inflatable sculpture of the dragon god that ascends to heaven and provides water to the fields to keep the farmers happy.

The Honolulu Daijayama Booster Group was the highlight of the Grand Parade, traveling down Kalakaua Avenue with the fire-breathing Daijayama dragon with sparklers coming out of its mouth and back.
