The Hawaii Pacific women’s basketball team jumped up two spots to No. 21 in the latest Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Division II Coaches Top 25 poll on Tuesday.
The Sharks (23-2, 17-1 PacWest) are riding a school record 19-game winning streak. The only PacWest team ranked higher than HPU is Azusa Pacific (25-3, 16-2), which sits at 19. The two teams will meet on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Moanalua High School.
UH swimmers, divers earn MPSF honors
Thirty-four of Hawaii’s swimmers and divers earned All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors on Tuesday as the league announced its all-conference selections. Ninety-two honors were handed out among the 34 swimmers and divers in total, which are listed below.
The Rainbow Wahine had 20 different athletes earn 56 awards. Junior Franziska Weidner earned a team-high seven total awards. Fourteen different Rainbow Warriors earned a total of 36 awards, with junior Mateusz Chaba receiving six of them.
