Big Isle work furlough escapee wanted

Alexander Hill, 33, violated the terms and conditions of his work furlough when he failed to return to the Hale Nani Correctional Facility on Oct. 2, 2017.

Hawaii island police are once again asking for the public’s help finding a 33-year-old man wanted for escape.

Alexander Hill violated the terms and conditions of his work furlough when he failed to return to the Hale Nani Correctional Facility on Oct. 2, 2017.

Hill, known to frequent the Pahoa area, is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. The names “Alika” and “Mikah” are tattooed on the backs of his hands.

Anyone who may have information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective William Brown at 961-2384 or William.Brown@hawaiicounty.gov.
