Consolidated, Regal offer deals to watch Oscar-nominated films
Hawaii’s biggest movie theater chains are making it more affordable for customers to watch some of the films nominated for Academy Awards this year.
Consolidated Theatres launched a “Mahalo Days” promotion this week, offering $7 tickets to any Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday screening of an Oscar-nominated film through Feb. 28.
According to Consolidated, the following nominated films are currently showing on Oahu:
>> “The Shape of Water” (now playing at Kahala 8)
>> “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” (now playing at Koko Marina 8)
>> “Darkest Hour” (now playing at Kapolei 16 and Ko’olau Stadium 10)
>> “Phantom Thread” (now playing at Kahala 8)
>> “Lady Bird” (now playing at Koko Marina 8)
>> “Call Me By Your Name” (now playing at Kahala 8)
>> “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” (now playing at Ward 16)
>> “I, Tonya” (now playing at Kahala 8)
>> “Coco” (now playing at Ward 16 and Kapolei 16)
>> “The Post” (now playing at Ward 16, Kahala 8 and Ko’olau Stadium 10)

Regal Cinemas is also jumping on the Oscars train with its Best Picture Film Festival, which will offer customers a chance to watch all nine Best Picture-nominated movies for $35.
Screenings start at 1 p.m. Feb. 23 with “The Post,” with additional films shown at 4, 7 and 10 p.m. each day through March 4 at its Dole Cannery Stadium 18, Kapolei Commons 12 and Windward Stadium 10 theaters on Oahu along with Keauhou Stadium 7 in Kona on Hawaii island.
Along with “The Post,” Regal will screen the following nominees:

>> “Get Out”
>> “Lady Bird”
