Kelly adds 3 assistants, retains 4 on UCLA coaching staff

LOS ANGELES >> UCLA head coach Chip Kelly has finalized his staff with the addition of three more assistants, including quarterbacks coach Dana Bible.

Kelly also retained four assistants from coach Jim Mora’s 2017 staff today.

UCLA hired Roy Manning to coach special teams and outside linebackers. Vince Oghobaase is the new defensive line coach.

Kelly retained receivers coach Jimmie Dougherty, running backs coach DeShaun Foster, offensive line coach Hank Fraley and tight ends coach Angus McClure.

The 64-year-old Bible is a longtime friend of Kelly, who brought him out of a three-year absence from coaching to help on his staff with the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. Bible has coached at Boston College and North Carolina State.

Manning was an assistant at Washington State for the past three seasons.
