Repair work to main break on Ala Moana Blvd. to last through Thursday
Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are responding to an 12-inch main break that has closed the far right west-bound lane of Ala Moana Boulevard of Ala Moana Boulevard near the Ala Moana Shopping Center bus stop.
An additional westbound lane may be closed as repair work progresses. Repairs to the main and roadway are expected to take place overnight through Thursday.
No businesses or residences in the area are affected.
The 12-inch main was originally installed in 1934, the BWS reports.
