Country music star Luke Bryan, scheduled to perform March 23 at the Blaisdell Arena, has added a second show March 24 as part of his “What Makes You Country” tour, promoters announced today.

Bryan will appear with supporting act Brothers Osborne. The concerts will come closely on the heels of the premiere of a revamped “American Idol,” with Bryan as a judge alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. “Idol” is scheduled to premiere March 11 on ABC.

Tickets go on sale for both shows at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and in person at the Blaisdell Center Box Office or Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are $129.50, $79.50 and $49.50 in advance; $1 per ticket sold will be donated to charity, and all ticket prices increase $5.50 if purchased the day of show, promoter Emporium Presents stated.

Bryan is a two-time Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year and a five-time host of the ACM Awards. At this year’s Super Bowl LI, he performed the national anthem. He has sold over 12 million albums and his songs have been streamed 3 billion times. His new album, “What Makes You Country,” was released Dec. 8.

Bryan has 18 career No. 1 singles, 10 of which he co-wrote, and has headlined arena tours and sold-out stadiums across the U.S. He wrapped his “Huntin’, Fishin’, And Lovin’ Every Day Tour” in October, performing to 1.5 million fans in 2017, according to promoters.
