We’re unveiling a new and improved comment system
For the second time this year, we’re unveiling a new commenting system on staradvertiser.com with a goal of improving and encouraging discussion.
Civil Comments, which we’ve used since February, is closing up shop. So today we are migrating to Talk, a system developed by the Coral Project.
While Civil Comments helped improve the overall environment of our comment threads, we believe Talk will take things to the next level. A few notes on using the new system:
No login changes: Your staradvertiser.com account will automatically connect you to Talk.
No rating comments: You no longer need to rate other comments before you can post.
Moderation: Talk includes a moderation tool that aims to keep the discussion civil, so you’ll be prompted to reconsider words or comments that the system flags.
