Metal band Incubus returning to Honolulu
Incubus, the chart-topping quintet that blends a variety of rock/metal genres, returns to Hawaii for two performances at the Republik in March.
The group, featuring lead singer Brandon Boyd, reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart with “Light Grenades” in 2006 and had four other albums debut in the top five. Earlier this year, it recently released its eighth album, titled “8,” enlisting Skrillex as a co-producer. The album contains 11 new tracks, including “Nimble Bastard,” “Loneliest” and “Undefeated.”
The concerts are at 8 p.m. on March 14 and 15. Tickets are $69.50. A presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with the promo code incubus8; tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday. Visit seetickets.us.
