President Donald Trump prepared to leave for the airport in Manila for his return to the U.S.

President Donald Trump has left Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam after a brief stop to refuel Air Force One this morning.

Trump arrived at 6:28 a.m. en route to Washington D.C. following his 12-day trip that included visiting five nations in Asia.

Air Force left Hickam at 7:36 a.m. for Joint Base Andrews.

The president spent his last day in Asia in the Philippines where he participated in the 12th Annual East Asia Summit plenary session at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila.

Unlike the president’s overnight stop on Oahu earlier this month, today’s visit included no scheduled events, motorcades or road closures. However, the Federal Aviation Administration had issued temporary flight restrictions for Oahu this morning while Air Force One was here.

Trump and first lady Melania Trump spent more than 18 hours on Oahu on Nov. 3 and 4 on the way to Asia. While here, he visited the USS Arizona Memorial, was briefed by Pacific Command leaders, and briefly met with employees of the Trump International Hotel in Waikiki.
