Hawaii middle hitter Natasha Burns slammed one past Long Beach State’s Hailey Harward.

Senior middle Emily Maglio put down 19 kills and Hawaii celebrated senior night with a 25-14, 25-11, 25-10 rout of longtime rival Long Beach State in tonight’s Big West volleyball match at the Stan Sheriff Center.

It was the 20th match that Maglio was in double-figure kills. The Rainbow Wahine (18-7, 12-2) got 13 digs from senior libero Savanah Kahakai, who needs five to pass Tita Ahuna (1,384) for No. 3 on the program’s all-time digs list.

Sophomore middle Natasha Burns added a career-high 11 kills with no errors in 16 swings. Senior hitter Kalei Greeley had a season-high 14 digs as the Wahine outdug the 49ers 56-36.

Sophomore libero-turned-hitter Hailey Harward had six kills to lead Long Beach State (7-17, 4-9). Harward had a team-high 14 digs and libero Rachel Nieto added 10 digs.
