Police arrested a 21-year-old man today in connection with a fatal stabbing of a military man in Waikiki and were looking for a suspect in a murder on a farm in Kunia.

The military man in the Waikiki slaying was stabbed during an altercation about 1 a.m. today near Royal Hawaiian and Kalakaua avenues, police said.

An Emergency Medical Services report said the victim, 23, was treated by paramedics near Victoria’s Secret on Kalakaua Avenue and taken in critical condition to a hospital. Police said the man later died.

Police arrested a 21-year-old man at 3:35 a.m. near Dukes Lane and Kuhio Avenue for investigation of second-degree murder.

About 7:20 p.m. Friday, a 73-year-old woman was found unresponsive by a co-worker outside a farm shed on Kunia Road, police said.

The woman had stab wounds to her torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The woman was last seen about 12 p.m. Friday prior to the co-worker’s discovery.

Police opened a second-degree murder investigation. No one was arrested in connection with that case by Saturday morning.
