>> Noelani Obermeyer, Punahou ’16: The Santa Clara sophomore finished in seventh place in the women’s 6-kilometer race at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational.
FOOTBALL
>> Kekaula Kaniho, Kahuku ’17: The Boise State freshman defensive back, who scored five defensive touchdowns as a senior with the Red Raiders, scored his first collegiate TD on a 34-yard fumble return in a 31-14 win over San Diego State on Saturday. Kaniho added four solo tackles to help the Broncos hand the Aztecs their first loss of the season.
MILTON WINS ANOTHER AWARD
Central Florida sophomore quarterback McKenzie Milton was named the American Athletic Conference offensive player of the week on Monday after lighting up the scoreboard yet again in a 63-21 victory over East Carolina on Saturday.
Milton, a 2016 Mililani graduate, finished 21-for-27 for 324 yards and two touchdowns and also scored on a 1-yard run for his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Milton, who is second in the country in passing efficiency (203.6), has won the AAC offensive weekly award twice this season.
UCF jumped up to No. 20 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 and is one of eight undefeated teams in the rankings.
The Knights (5-0) play at Navy on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Hawaii time. The game will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.

>> Adam Stack, Kamehameha ’17: The Oregon freshman punted five times for 198 yards, averaging 39.6 yards per punt with a long of 50 against the Cardinal.

>> Megan Goo, ‘Iolani ’15: The Idaho junior midfielder scored her second goal of the season in the 61st minute of a 2-1 loss to Portland State on Sunday.

>> Alyssa Tobita, Mililani ’14: The Oregon senior won three doubles matches in the Washington Invitational and went 2-1 in singles, losing to No. 18 Stacey Fung of Washington in three sets on Sunday. Oregon finished 22-7 in the three-day tournament.

>> Adora Anae,Kahuku ’14: The Utah senior outside hitter blasted a team-high 14 kills and added nine digs and a block assist in a four-set win over Arizona on Friday. Anae added 12 kills, seven digs and an ace in a four-set win over Arizona State on Sunday for the Utes, who jumped one spot to No. 12 in the AVCA rankings this week.
>> Bailey Choy, ‘Iolani ’16: The Utah sophomore setter had 20 assists and 15 digs against the Wildcats and 46 assists, nine digs and two aces against the Sun Devils.
>> Brandee Markwith, Punahou ’16: The East Carolina libero had a match-high 30 digs, six assists and a kill in a five-set win over Tulane on Friday and added a match-high 22 digs, two assists and an ace in a four-set win over Houston on Sunday. The Pirates’ current five-match winning streak is their longest in conference since 2006.
