Police seek information on shooting of 63-year-old Puna man
Hawaii island police are asking the public for information on a shooting in Puna Wednesday afternoon that left a 63-year-old Hawaian Acres man with gunshot wounds to his chest and head.
Police responded at 3:05 p.m. to Hawaiian Acres, where they found the man in his driveway with wounds to his head and chest. The man was taken to the Hilo Medical Center by Hawaii island firefighters and later flown to The Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
