Losing some distance? Here is a great distance drill! Greater club-head speed equates to more distance. That is a common fact. A great way to do this is to amp up your arm speed. A nice golf exercise that will boost power and improve your timing is to practice the Reverse Driver Drill.
Grab your driver and turn it upside down. Make practice swings hearing a whooshing sound at the bottom of your swing arc. If you hear the whoosh at the start of the downswing or by your trail ear you are casting or throwing the club from the top.
This drill will allow you to accelerate through impact and allows your arms to swing freely, creating width on the downswing.
